I would describe my attitude towards work as positive, playful, passionate and persistent whether it is a commercial job or personal exhibition projects.

I approach my work with the aim of creating classic with an edge, along with a timeless and minimal quality. I achieve this through subtleties, understand lighting and the use of a limited tonal palette which has come to define my style.

Below the disarming surface of the image are layers to unravel for those who wish to explore further. A friend describes my current work as the light side of dark. If you look at the earlier exhibition work you will see that it used to be more the dark side of light.

Over the last three years I have developed an interest in how humans can recover from trauma and I am currently studying a Gestalt approach to therapy. This explores the philosophies of existentialism and phenomenology. It adopts a holistic approach to human existence through investigations of meanings, values, freedom, tragedy, personal responsibility, human potential, spirituality and self-actualization. I am keen to apply some of this learning in my new photographic work.

I like to think that the values I bring to my work are those of integrity and consistency.
